As a doctoral student, joined part of the BEPC Linear Accelerator Design, installation, commissioning. As head of the injector linac, took on full responsibility for the major upgrade of BEPC linac to BEPCII (2003~2008) (~44 million). Project leader, CAS "key technologies-research and development of accelerator microwave power source" (6 million, 1 million from IHEP). Project leader, IHEP and Wuxi Alban joined program "development of high power industrial irradiation Accelerator"(8 million). Project leader, Chinese National Science Foundation project "research on key technologies of the ILC Positron source" (2006~2008, 0.44 million).

2004, Academy Award for outstanding achievement in science and technology: "2-5GeV electron-positron colliding hadrons, accurate measurement of reaction cross section" (collective); 2008, Beijing science and technology progress award: "BEPCII Positron source" (the first); 2011, Academy of Science Award for outstanding achievement in science and technology: "the renovation project for the Beijing electron-positron Collider (BEPCII)" (collective).
